Newsletter: Help Us Be Better: Invoicing Preferences
Below is the email newsletter sent to all of our clients on 12 September, 2018.
indie.web Accounts Overhaul
We're well aware that our invoicing historically hasn't been the best. Our focus has always been on "the work" with accounts taking a distant second place. Unfortunately this has meant that at times our invoicing regularity has been - quite frankly - abysmal. If you've been frustrated with indie.web's slow invoicing in the past, we apologise.
In April this year Alice Dignam joined us as a dedicated part-time accounts team member. She immediately saw what needed to change and has been implementing new systems to ensure we don't suffer from the issues we have in the past.
As part of this process, we'd like to invite you to answer a few very quick questions about your invoicing preferences. Your feedback will enable us to personalise how and when we invoice you.
What About the BC EOL?
In our May email newsletter we explained BC's EOL (End of Life) announcement, the implications for our clients and what we are doing about it.
We have investigated a large number of CMS platforms and have discarded many as potential alternatives due to a number of requirements we consider non-negotiable including:
- Extensible Functionality
We have narrowed down our list of options and expect to making some recommendations in due course. If you're interested in reading more, see our recent article, Business Catalyst EOL Update.
