Below is the email newsletter sent to our clients for whom we manage Google Analytics on 6 June, 2023.

Dear Recipient,

You are receiving this email because you have a Google Analytics account managed by indie.web and currently have the legacy version of Google Analytics ("Universal Analytics") installed on your website.

Universal Analytics will be retired on 1 July, 2023. In order for your website to continue collecting data, we need to migrate your Universal Analytics property to Google Analytics 4 (GA4).

Depending on what version of our CMS you are using, an upgrade may also be required in order to use Google Analytics 4.

Over coming weeks, we will be contacting each of our customers individually to discuss options for the migration.
